Each year, cargo
theft drains billions of dollars from the U.S. economy. Cargo
theft also interrupts the supply chain, disrupts manufacturing
and retail operations, and jeopardizes brands. In this session,
Sal Marino, will discuss challenges in addressing the problem
and look at solutions, including theft-prevention techniques and
information sharing among theft victims, their business
partners, and law enforcement. You’ll also learn about CargoNet,
the new national database of cargo thefts.
